Ode to Silver the Hedgehog

Any of my long-time watchers would know that my deviantART profile started from humble beginnings of drawing Sonic the Hedgehog fan characters. Recently, my gallery is filled with drawings of humans from different anime that I watch, mostly D.Gray-Man.


However, upon playing Sonic '06, I found myself missing these characters.


Silver is the one character that a lot of people can't stand, particularly for his debut in Sonic '06. I've personally always liked Silver, from his funky hair style to his determined nature. His naïveté doesn't make me like him any less, since every good character has their flaws.

Anyway, this is my way of paying homage to my roots of drawing characters. The girl next to him is meant to be me, now that I'm older. The idea was that of what you'd find on Facebook, meeting up with an old friend and learning about the new life they've made for themselves.
